Swallowing the Moon
Cairo is a city in turmoil. With the ousting of Mubarak and the military coup of Morsi, the tension in the streets is, as they say, off the charts. While there are still some secure parts of the city that are considerably safer for outsiders, most countries advise against travel to the city if it can be avoided.
As far as the shadowy world of darkness, it is often rumored that the “native” turmoil is the result of a power struggle within the inner courts of the vampire prince of the city. Of course, this is a perfectly plausible theory and one that makes the city even more dangerous for those denizens of the other-worldly nations.
